QuitWave

Terms of Use

Effective 20 August 2026 · Last updated 20 August 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Mete Erdal Köroğlu ("we", "us"), the developer of QuitWave. By downloading or using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use QuitWave on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, sell, rent, sub-license, reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source code of the app, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

What the app is — and is not

QuitWave is a tracking and coaching tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, it is not a medical device, and it gives no nicotine-replacement or medication advice. The recovery timeline is general information drawn from published research, with the source shown next to each entry; it describes what is generally observed and says nothing about you in particular.

Nicotine dependence is a health matter. For advice about your own health, talk to a doctor or a qualified quit-line service. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency number.

The figures the app shows — money saved, puffs not taken, projections — are arithmetic on the numbers you entered. They are estimates, not financial statements, and their accuracy depends entirely on what you told the app.

QuitWave Premium

The app is free to use. Premium is an optional purchase that lets the in-app coach draw on your own logged history — the cravings you rode out, the triggers you recorded and the reflections you wrote — instead of your stated reasons alone. Everything else in the app, including the Craving SOS flow itself, stays available without paying.

Premium is offered as:

Prices are shown in your own currency inside the app, set by Apple for your storefront, and may differ from the US figures above. Taxes are included or added according to your storefront's rules.

Billing and renewal

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically at the same price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending. You can manage or cancel a subscription in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds

Purchases are handled by Apple, and refunds are Apple's to grant under the App Store Terms of Service — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Where consumer law in your country gives you a right of withdrawal, that right applies and nothing here limits it.

Restoring what you bought

"Restore purchases" in Settings re-checks your Apple Account for an existing purchase. Lifetime and active subscriptions restore on any device signed in to the same Apple Account.

Your data

What you enter stays on your device. What that means in detail is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. You are responsible for your own device backups: uninstalling the app deletes your history, and we hold no copy that could be recovered for you.

Changes to the app

We may add, change or remove features, and may stop distributing the app. If a paid feature is discontinued during a period you have already paid for, contact us and we will help you seek an appropriate refund from Apple.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will help you stop vaping.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer protection law.

Apple

Apple is not a party to these terms and has no responsibility for the app. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Any claim about the app not conforming to a warranty may be directed to Apple for a refund of the purchase price, to the extent Apple's own terms allow.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
